Education

Dr. Sareh completed his undergraduate education at the University of Southern California with a major in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the Keck School of Medicine, and a minor in natural sciences.

He was chosen to participate in the progressive degree program, and pursued a Master’s Degree in Global Medicine

Dr. Sareh earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, one of the top medical schools in the country.

During his medical studies, he focused on cardiovascular research and was an integral member of the CORE lab at UCLA. His work has led to dozens of peer-reviewed publications, and he was invitied to present his work at multiple national meetingsa around the county.

Dr. Sareh pursued General Surgery training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, one of the busiest trauma centers in the Western United States.

During his training, Dr. Sareh earned numerous accolades including “Intern of the Year,” “Junior Resident of the Year,” “Consultant Resident of the Year,” and “Chief Resident of the Year.”

Dr. Sareh completed a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery under the leadership of Dr. Richard Shemin, one of the world’s master heart surgeons.

Dr. Sareh earned an expertise in advanced cardiac surgery techniques, including completed CABG surgery, and minimally invasive arrhythmia surgery and valve replacement.

He earned multiple awards including the ‘Blalock Travelling Fellow Award’ and the “Rosenberng Humanitarian Fellow Award”
